MI-Trial holds first in-person Board Meeting in two years

On the 21st of November, The Mi-Trial Board Members convened at the Manchester Evaluation Unit for their first in-person board meeting in over two years. This day marked a significant step forward in the organisation’s commitment to advancing the Mi-Trial Clinical Trial Platform and fostering a pro-active approach to development and of the app.

This day marked a significant step forward in the organisation’s commitment to advancing the Mi-Trial Clinical Trial Platform and fostering a pro-active approach to development and of the app. 

The meeting provided board members with a valuable opportunity to engage in face-to-face discussions, review ongoing projects, and strategise future endeavours. 

The Manchester Evaluation Unit, known for its role in assessing and supporting cutting-edge clinical trials, served as the ideal venue for this significant meeting. Board members took the opportunity to tour the facility, gaining first-hand insight into the latest advancements in trial methodologies and how the unit it making use of the Mi-Trial app to improve trial participation and engagement.

During the meeting, David Rogers shared the financial position of the company, sparking discussions on new ways to advance Mi-Trial’s growth and sustainability. Software Developer James McMunn briefed attendees on the nearly finished CRF implementation, leading to brainstorming sessions on new features to expand Mi-Trial’s offerings. Additionally, a new marketing strategy was discussed to enhance Mi-Trial’s visibility and reach within the industry.

CEO Paul O’Brien led discussions on establishing a regular planning cycle in 2025, aiming to build on the successes achieved in 2024 and ensure a structured approach to future developments.
